I have been involved with woodworking for 60+ years, everything from cabinets, furniture, music boxes, and wooden clocks. My woodturning is focused on segmented, particularly open segment vessels. I incorporate CNC and lasers in my turnings. I have develop a micro computer driven jig to assist in open segmented vessel assembly. I recently gave a presentation on open segment techniques at the Segmented Turner Symposium.
